This is an early Haiwan production pressed from Menghai material harvested in Spring 2005. It's called "生态·春尖" which means Organic Spring Tips. Although the title in Chinese means organic, this is NOT a certified organic tea.
With almost 15 years of Kunming aging, this tea is still strong a punchy, but with a nice aged feel to it. Thick and buttery mouthfeel this reminds me of a 7542, or 7532 (Menghai Tea Factory).
Pictures were taken in 2005, so the cake is currently darker in color.
Nice semi-aged Haiwan production! Only 20 cakes in total.
357 Grams per cake (wrappers may have some small tears on the edge)
