A staple product among Tibetan peoples for decades, this coarse tea brick is Yunnan's contribution to Yak Butter tea. The tea bricks are broken apart and chunks are boiled in hot water. Hemp seeds, yak butter and salt or sugar are added to make the Yak Butter tea. This particular brick was stored in Guangdong and has aged rather quickly. Nice aged taste!
This tea can also be brewed gong fu style with good results.
Backside of the bricks contain tea fannings. Do not order if you are wanting entirely intact leaves!

** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!
