This is a blend of ripe pu-erh tea from various areas of Yunnan! Most of the tea has been aged a couple of years already at the time of pressing to minimize the wet pile taste. Further aging will make this already smooth and thick tea even more enjoyable and complex!

Good for daily

"This is a good tea for daily use, I would say its price-quality ratio is 4/5, but comparing it with some teas in a similar price category, I would say that there are more interesting options."

Great daily drinker

"Nice qi, heavier tertiary notes of wood and wet stones set the tone. but the after taste and aroma on the empty glass is very floral and has a hint of sweet glutinous rice. Great value for money given its price."

Lovely

"Lots of chocolate notes with this one. Bought as part of The Wonder of Cha Tou Ripe Pu-erh Tea Sampler - don't see much cha tou in the mix, but lovely taste regardless."

Aging well

"It is early 2022 and this 2019 Pu-erh blend is aging fantastic. I highly recommend it before it´s price will go up."

Thick, creamy, strong cha qi

"I bought this after getting a cake of the 2020 Cozy ripe tea, because I really enjoyed the cha tou heavy blend (and this is also one). Compared to the Cozy, I'd say this is a little less interesting taste-wise, though still very good. It's got that nice creaminess from the cha tou that I was looking for, and a pleasant sweetness like milk chocolate and dark fruit. Where this diverges from Cozy though is the cha qi, which I found to be much more noticeable and heady. Overall its a really nice tea, with a more motivating high"

Beautiful daily drinker

"This tea surprised me with it's outstanding quality at a reasonable price, and the lack of any wet pile notes for a young tea. Smooth, creamy, with strong cocoa overtones--I can (and do) drink this all day. If you're looking for a tea with intense cha qi--this is more on the mellow side, and comforting--the perfect tea for troubled times. It's drinking perfectly right now--not sure it's going to improve with aging, but it's possible. I'm on my 4th cake, and there's some question of whether I'll be able to hang on to any cakes for aging--haha. You can push a good number of steeps through this tea without it thinning out or turning tannic--it just fades away after a day of brewing. I'm using 7-8g in one of those little silver pots--I think it's around 100ml. Highly recommended."

Balanced and definitively charming !

"A nice blending by YS, very balanced, without any bitterness, the liquor is thick, creamy but not too heavy with a darkish brown-bordeaux mellow liquor persistent during the infusions (I was able to get 13 infusions with my 60ml gaiwan for 4.8 grams, which is good for a young tea). According to Scott in the video, the recipe is close to the "Year of the Goat 2015" but this new one is a little bit more "perfumed" (sweet spices, hay and dried fruits). I would recommend this cake to all new and confirmed drinkers who will fall under the charm of this tea so easy to drink."

Good Basic Ripe

"If you're needing a good daily drinking ripe this one fits the bill"

Smooth and balanced!

"This is my second ripe tea I've ever tried. I was a bit afraid of wet pile taste, since the first ripe I tried was a bit older than this one, but I haven't noticed anything gross even after one quick rinse. The tea is very smooth and balanced. I've been drinking it almost daily since receiving it and it never disappoints. I brewed some for a friend of mine who's never tried puerh before and he wanted more!"
