Whats the difference between pure 990 and 999 sliver? is both the same? 99% silver 1% copper?
99.00% = 990 and 99.9% = 999

Yes, it's threaded and will stay on.
Is it a functional teapot? I see the lid is removable but I wonder if the spout goes all the way through to allow water to be poured from it.
Water will drain from the spout, but I'd hardly call it a functional teapot. ;-)
