Peacock Feather glazed motif on ceramic, dipped in beach sand glaze.  Elegant well crafted ceramic gaiwan with a unique and vibrant look and feel!  

Gaiwans are great for brewing any tea.  No need to fuss with seasoning or dedicating a gaiwan.  If you want to brew a black tea and then a pu-erh, just rinse with hot water and go!

"This is a piece to prepare a medium cup of tea, its color is pure white with just the right shine for the smooth finish, it can be spoken of as matte and the touch on the bottom is slightly rough like sand. It is well made and the lid fits my perfect piece. It is a good memory of peace and prosperity to leave behind the year 2020 and look to the present, summing up a good bargain for the price paid. Beautiful little gaiwan

"I love this one so much. The texture of the rough sand paired with the smooth glaze is very nice. I really like the way that the white glaze is not too shiny, it has a sort of matte finish to it that I find very tasteful. My only complaint would be that the lid does not fit as tightly as my other gaiwan. It seems that the lid is every so slightly oval-shaped, so it sort of wobbles when it sit on the cup. It doesn't effect the brew at all (it can still form a suction) but it is a bit distracting. Other than that, a perfect gaiwan."
