The Li River in the Guilin district of Guangxi is a famous scenic river with startling karst hills lining the river and landscape. The fishermen of the Li River navigate the river on small hand-made boats and use native cormorant birds to help them catch fish (link to BBC video).
These porcelain cups and gaiwan offer us an impression of this lovely scene, but are well-made and a pleasure to use as well!
