This is a classic Ripe tea blend, called "V93", it was first released in 2005 and quickly became one the most expensive ripe teas on the market. To this day the 2005 and 2006 V93 Ripe productions have commanded very high prices due to the fact that this is one of the most sought after Ripe teas for everyday drinking. It is smooth and full in the mouth. It is fermented just enough to break down the bitterness of raw pu-erh while lightly fermented enough to preserve the stimulating cha qi and hui gan of a raw pu-erh. After-taste is sweet and thick.

"Il n'est pas méchant. Cependant, ce petit goût de fumé, je n'aime pas trop. C'est un goût que je retrouve dans plusieurs shou, et à chaque fois, je me demande pourquoi créer ce petit goût de fumé ? Qu'est-ce qu'ils cherchent à cacher dans les notes en bouche à vouloir fumer légèrement le tas de thé lorsqu'ils fermentent le thé ? Ça prends trop de place en bouche ce petit arrière goût de fumé. J'ai toute une cave à pu-erh, et j'ai de bons shou de différentes années qui n'ont pas ce goût de fumé que je trouve trop présent dans celui-ci. Comme il est écrit dans plusieurs commentaires, c'est un bon thé au quotidien, mais pour ma part, je ne suis pas certain que je voudrais boire un tel goût à chaque jour. Il ne sera donc malheureusement pas mon shou au quotidien. Question de goût hihihihih Je vais devoir faire mes infusions plus courtes pour éviter un trop plein de saveur de fumé. C'est un 2019, il a peut être encore du chemin à faire avant sa pleine capacité. . . Mais encore là, j'ai dernièrement bu un shou de 1999 et il y avait aussi ce goût de fumé qui était très présent, tandis que le 2001, était beaucoup plus meilleur que le 1999. Le goût de fumé était absent."

"It has a light smell and a neutral taste. It's better than very cheap pu-erh teas, but I still think it's a bit overpriced. But maybe after a few years it will have a better taste. I understand the idea of drinking this tea every day, probably because of its neutral taste, it can easily be consumed in large quantities."

The "V93's"

"Anyone who hasn't tasted ANY of these V93 years should at least sample one. They are among the smoothest, full bodied and deeply (cha chi) engaging teas I've ever had. I just opened a bag of 5 from 2010 and the maturity's amazing. I realize this review is for a different year but remember that "Da Yi" means of "Great Benefit" and the Menghai Factory puts a lot of pride in their teas. You can actually see and feel the pride in the people working there. Aho!"
