Nan Po Zhai is the closest village to Bing Dao village in the county of Mengku.  It lies 2km from Bing Dao village in a roadless area filled with centuries old tea trees.  Nan Po tea is typically sold as Bing Dao as it's quite similiar, but not the same.  We are happy to offer this incredibly powerful and textured tea from the late Autumn of 2018.

Enjoyable tea

"Savory flavors and nice sweetness. Powerful tea with nice durability. Glad I picked up a cake."

Could have fooled me

"This is a really nice autumn tea. If I had blindly consumed this, I would have guessed it was a spring tea. The aroma is strong and very pleasant; pungent with not-quite-but-sort-of-nutty and brothy sort of character. Plenty of umami. I like having this type of pu'er around, as I typically like drinking "daintier" pu'er (in terms of aroma, not body or bitterness, which I enjoy), but love breaking up my routine with a powerful tea such as this. Beautiful leaf quality with excellent apparent processing. The wrapper art is incredible, as well."
