Reviews
Average tea taster
"I’m not a tea enthusiast except for the live for loose leaf and straight from the source. Gave up coffee 2 years ago and full on the daily tea train! The buzz is mellow and longer. I try to order staple teas of black, green, and oolong. This oolong was perfect for me as a go to oolong."

fragrant and excellent
"very good tea. The scent and flavor is like you first step in a flower-market and the fragrant air hits you."

The best teas ever!
"Amazing teas, absolutely highest quality you can imagine! Delicious, unique teas. I have ordered a Juky club box and a few more teas to try and have received Pine Needles Green Tea as a gift. Yunnan Sourcing Team where so helpful, guiding me with advice as I am relatively new to teas. I will define keep ordering from Yunnan Sourcing as I think this is the best quality I have seen!"

Good tea, lacking complexity
"Chou Shi is quite distinct to other Dan Congs. This particular tea is a good, yet rather uninspired variant. Dry smell: very vegetal, anxi green oolong Wet smell: sweet vegetal, creamy, vegetal bitter notes Brewing parameters: 8g/150ml, 95C 10s (keep first brew to drink last), then 99C 5s -> 5s -> +5s"

Wonderful delicious perfect oolong
"I’m so pleased how good the oolongs are at Yunnan Sourcing. I bought a lot of samples to see how they compared to the oolongs I buy from a Taiwanese vendor and they are as good! Every tea I’ve bought from yunnan sourcing has been perfect."

Pleasant surprise
"I took a chance on 250g and on opening the bag was met with a heavy fragrance instantly new i was on to a winner. At first i thought i was drinking an excellent white tea, sweet, honey, floral, fresh hay. i had actually walked away and forgot about it for 10 minutes, and i found no bitterness at all. This is definitely a fist cup of the morning tea to ease yourself into the day, to put you in a mellow mood. An excellent find."

Beautifully Floral
"This tea fills the room with the scent of gardenias. I'm tempted to keep the wet leaves out just to smell them throughout the day, it's really something special. The taste is light, green and leafy with the slightest hint of bitterness. I'll be coming back for more once my 25g bag is empty!"

Buttered Corn
"The smell of the leaves brewing in the tea pot reminds me so much of the buttery corn smell that you have with a BBQ. Absolutely amazing. Flavour has hints of butter with vegetal notes as well. I am still new to tea and it's difficult to describe everything going on so I apologise for that but I just Had to leave a review for this tea as it's downright amazing and I wish I had ordered more."

Buttery, Floral, and a hint of Fruit
"A very nice dan cong with a very creamy and buttery sensation. I brew this at 95C starting at 20 seconds, going up by 5, 5, 5, 15, 20, and so on. You have to be careful as this dan cong gets bitter very fast if overinfused. I strongly recommend giving this a try!"

Unexpected.
"The scent is like a walk in the alps in springtime. The taste is a wildflower extravaganza. No joke. Love this tea."
