High Mountain Dan Cong plucked from 100 year old tea trees! This Osmanthus Dan Cong (桂花) is amazing! As soon as you open the bag you will notice a creamy milk-like aroma. The brewed tea is creamy, sweet and thick with a long lasting osmanthus after-taste. It's amazing to taste such an amazingly crafted tea that is so flavorful, but yet entirely natural with no additives. A very infusable tea that will go 10+ rounds brewed gong fu style. Strong cha qi and very pure taste and feeling!

Jiao Di Village area (1000 meters altitude)

King Cong of Oolong

"Another fantastic Dan cong. Brewed via a small gaiwan. Floral notes were strong. Really opened up on the 3rd and 4th brews. A great experience and one of my favorites!"

It is a wonderful tea.

"The 'High Mountain Osmanthus "Gui Hua" Dan Cong Oolong' is probably one of the best teas which I have ever tasted. This is not a complex beverage. it is simple and straight forward. It offers a smooth mouth feel and offers delicious berry notes which I truly appreciate. My only regret is that I did not buy more of it to be able to share. Overall just a great tea"

Favourite one!

"One of my favorite - bright aroma with a distinct osmanthus profile, this is one of the most striking variations of Dan Cong. This tea is very similar to spring Gui Hua Osmantus Dan Cong 2021."

Now we are talking! the

"Now we are talking! the smell of this Dan Con is mind blowing. The taste is floral but in a very deep way. It has some bitterness, but it is pleasant and contributes to a lingering aftertaste. Basically this tea offers you a floral osmantus like taste, followed with a pleasant bitterness, which then turns into sweetness. Furthermore, this can be infused and reinfused at least 10 times. Overall super happy with this Dan Cong."

1-year update

"Not quite 1 year into it, but I'll round up anyways :) This tea has aged remarkably well - the combo of fruity & floral has somehow gotten stronger over time, rather than gotten weaker. It's almost like the aromatics of this plant are heavy oils that continue to soak through the leaves over long periods of time rather than dissipate away from the leaves. I fully expected this tea to have very little flavor left, I thought it would have been flat across the palate and with no depth... but I'm glad to report that could not be further from the truth. This tea is thick, viscous, and graceful over the many cups that it imparts such a beautiful and balanced flavor profile into. The peach-like note of osmanthus is so strong that a real peach would get jealous. Seriously, it's that apparent. I've tried a lot of Dan Cong - pretty much everything that is in the YS catalog - and this is one of the very few that hits what I call a "metaphysical-grade experience" This and the Jiang Mu Xiang will forever change the way you think of Dan Cong tea. Definitely give this is a try if you want something that is exceptionally flavorful but not incredibly difficult to enjoy."
