Liming Tea Factory is located in Menghai and specializes in both ripe and raw pu-erhs composed of Xishuangbanna tea leaves.  This cake is a blend of several Bu Lang mountain villages' tea!

This is a blend of Menghai area spring harvested teas.  Aged in Guangdong from 2010 until now (we don't stock more than one case at a time in Kunming)   It's lightly aged and very smooth to drink but still plenty of complexity, qi and a thick mouth-feel to boot! Nice red-gold tea soup color**.

Liming has proved its raw pu-erh blends are high quality and age well.

**Actual tea soup color is likely quite a bit darker than shown in the photos.

357 grams per cake

2010 Pressing from Bu Lang Mountain area tea leaves

** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!

Bulang Experience

"This is a tea to study. It gives a great and strong Bulang area experience for - in my opinion - a more than fair price. Compare it carefully with other Puerh regions. While I drank already a bunch of Bulang Puerh, this tea made the click for me in terms of connecting all these different Bulang experiences together to form an overarching understanding of the region. It is definitely not the most exquisite Bulang I’ve ever had - but it helped me find the commonality between all those teas from the Bulang region. Thanks for that!"

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

"Veramente buono, ben invecchiato con un piacevole Huigan finale."

Surprisingly well-aged for the price

"For teas in this age range, I appreciate the hot and humid storage. Its really incredible how dark and aged this tea is! The photos definitely show the soup color as way too light. I was getting a burnt orange color (although I do brew mine pretty strong, 6.2g in a 90ml pot). The tea was strong throughout the session with great mouthfeel, making my tongue feel fuzzy. It has a lot of power to it, so will definitely age well. Classic punchy, mushroom-ish and sweet taste that has floral hints in the final infusions. Liming has some excellent semi-aged sheng out there."

Interesting aged sheng

"Excellent aged raw that has really helped me understand the nuances of sheng pu-erh. Initially relaxing, but builds over several infusions into a warming and energizing feeling. A great choice for anyone who wants to experience the typical sheng bite with an aged sweetness and depth. Opens up nicely and offers the chance to explore how these teas change over time."
