Entirely Jingmai mountain area tea harvested in 2020 and wet piled in Menghai. Several leaf grades from two unique wet pile batches have been blended together to add complexity.

Sweet, spicy and thick tea. Complex with noticeable Cha Qi and long lasting feeling in the mouth, this is a tea that will age wonderfully.

Every day tea

"Smooth, gentle, tasteful. I enjoy it as an everyday tea."

hits the effing spot

"First off, the wrapper is gorgeous. What a beautiful piece of work, I am definitely keeping it after this cake is gone. I blind bought a whole cake about a year ago and after letting it sit, I finally broke into it around Thanksgiving. I've been drinking 7 to 8 grams in my 90mL Duanni clay teapot every night, and I must say this one really hits the spot. I always get at least 8-10 rich and delicious cups back. As it continues to age, I'm sure that number will go up. This is a pretty complex tea with a lot of stuff going on. It’s a super thick chameleon of flavors that opens up quickly and doesn’t let off for a long time. Even when my first steep is 20 to 30 seconds, there’s a robust mouthfeel. Strong notes of cacao powder and high-quality coffee beans are front-and-center for the first half of the session. The strength of the mouthfeel and the potency of this flavor profile continues through the entire session, and along the way there is a good amount of evolution. The coffee and cacao eventually give way to some sweet and nutty flavors, reminiscent of roasted almonds and macadamias. The aftertaste really hangs out and lingers for a while, it's nice. The cacao note comes back for me and plays nicely with the roasted nutty thing going on. This specific quality reminds me of “almond aroma” dan cong – maybe this is why I think this tea is so good! Overall one of the most satisfying ripe pu'erhs I’ve tried so far."

Clean taste

"A small sample of this cacke was gifted on my last purchase. As a young shu there is wet pile taste, but very light, barely noticeable on dry leaves, and very light on wet leaves and first brews. The ta itself is strong and to me it's flavor resembles coffe, but not the cheap coffe that is usually aviable at coffee machines, its taste resembles a good colombian coffe with a hint of cocoa and spicy but without acidity. Also in later brews I can sense some woody sweet caramel/toofe hints . I've brewed 8 dark infussions, plus 4 good ones. After that it's possible to brew at least 2-4 watery infussions with good taste. An spicy effect appears on tongue and back in the palate. Also there is something I'm not sure what exactly is, but there's a delightful feeling when you drink it, I figure it's a combination of clean taste and tea oils in a well balanced proportions. Form me this is a very good and recommended tea, but also I think this tea will be better after a while (1 to 4 years) where the wet pile taste will dissapear completely and the tea will gain a little extra complexity and deep flavor."
