Liming Tea Factory is located in Menghai and specializes in both ripe and raw pu-erhs composed of Xishuangbanna tea leaves. This cake is a blend of several Bu Lang mountain villages' tea!

This is a blend of Menghai area spring harvested teas. Aged in Guangdong from 2008-12/2022, and then Kunming thereafter has given this tea a very interesting taste. It's well-aged and very smooth to drink but with still plenty of complexity, qi and a thick mouth-feel to boot! Liming has proved its raw pu-erh blends are high quality and age well.

357 grams per cake

2008 Pressing from Menghai area tea leaves

** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!

Wet Storage Magic

"this is where your brewing technique makes all the difference. This has good calming qi and medium mouth feel. The wet storage notes can be managed by letting it sit after the rinse. Later steeps will tend to be dominated by the wet storage note. But with some experimentation, you can make that wet storage work some magic. A mushroomy, forest-y thing that can be beautiful but is always referring to the storage. It can be a good ride, but is less pleasant if you're over adventurous in the later steeps. The value is amazing if you know how to work with the storage."

Good Aged Sheng

"Great Flavor: deep, earthy, woodsy. Not as robust as the 2005 liming but I do enjoy it."

Great pick

"Great taste and very affordable, got the complexity and aromas that I like while still being very smooth."

Amazing

"The more I drink this tea the more I fall in love with it. YS was kind enough to include it as a gift in my last purchase. This is a delicious raw pu erh… a wet mossy full mouth flavor, with hints of mushroom and blackberry flavors... but also woodsy, slightly floral, with hints of chocolate log bûche de Noël christmas cake and a very enjoyable thick mouth feel. Tastes like a vibrant, mossy rainforest shortly after rainfall."

A new everyday drinker ...

"This is a great budget tea with a non-budget taste. Up to now, the 2007 Pin Xiang "Bu Lang Shan" tuo was my benchmark for a value for money tea. Since I have tried the Zao Chun Jia Ji, it has become the new frontrunner. This tea is fantastic and has aged to a degree that makes it wonderful to drink now. There is no astringency to speak of, but lots of character instead. It is also a very complex tea and goes for many rounds, which cannot be said of all aged teas."

Beautifully aged high quality material

"I'm blown away on how awesome this tea is, it's been wet aged for just the right time to transform and smoothen the tea, but at the same time have the vibrancy and character of the material itself, I love it so much! Ultra smooth but with somehow complex at the same time. Raspberry sweetness, mushrooms, camphor. Just wow! 😍 And also a well aged sheng for that price is a steal! If you enjoy "Snow Ink" 2002 Province Company 7532 Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake, then do yourself a favor and try this one out, you'll be glad you did!"
