Elevate gongfu sessions with a modern classic. This titanium gaiwan pairs a graceful flared profile with serious brewing performance. The double-wall body (and lid) keeps the exterior pleasantly cool even with boiling water, while the thin inner wall gives you fast, responsive extractions and crystal-clean flavor. Titanium is inert and non-reactive, so it won’t imprint taste, perfect for showcasing delicate aromatics or for brewing across many tea styles.

A soft satin sheen catches the light in a way the photos hint at: quiet, refined, and beautifully made. The wooden lid knob stays cool and easy to grip, and the matching petal-form saucer gives steady footing and tidy table presence. Durable, lightweight, and travel-friendly, this is a tool you’ll reach for daily.

Why titanium?

  • Neutral & pure: food-grade titanium is non-reactive, with no metallic taste, no odor, just your tea.

  • Thermally smart: quick heat transfer for lively infusions, with the double wall keeping fingers comfortable.

  • Featherlight & tough: resists dents and corrosion; ideal for home or travel.

Details

  • Volume: 140 ml to the brim

  • Construction: double-wall titanium body and lid; cool-touch wooden lid knob

  • Finish: satin/brushed exterior, clean-pour rim

  • Includes: gaiwan, lid, matching saucer, and gift box

Care

  • Hand-wash only; mild soap and a soft sponge.

  • Dry after use. Avoid abrasives and prolonged soaking (protects the wooden knob).

  • A gentle patina may develop over time, many tea drinkers love the character it adds. If you prefer the shiny look, regular cleaning will keep it fresh and new looking.

If you’ve been curious about titanium teaware but want comfort and neutrality, this double-wall titanium gaiwan hits the sweet spot.

Light, sturdy, but can be improved

"This gaiwan pretty much meets most of my needs. As the description says, after a few tries, I can say it doesn't affect the characteristics of the tea you're drinking. However, there are pros and cons in my opinion, nothing that can't be improved, although I don't think it's Scott's fault. Pros: - Lightweight - Very sturdy - Doesn't affect the characteristics of the tea Cons: - Lid is too light; if you add too much water, it tends to "jump" and doesn't fit properly. A heavier knob would be enough, in my opinion. - It tends to cool more quickly than ceramic and porcelain. - The saucer is also too light; often, if there's liquid on the bottom, it tends to create a vacuum and lift up along with the gaiwan."

Love it

"Doesn't get too hot, which speaks to its excellent design. Good lid fit and easy to handle. Most of all, it will outlive me because it can't be broken by Mr. Clumsy!"
