What a wide rim!

"I bought this gaiwan over a year ago based on the pictures here. However, once I got it, I found the colors didn’t really work in my kitchen. On the other hand, I’ve been hugely pleased that it has a noticeably wider rim and lid than any other gaiwan I own. I burn my fingers a lot less now (and I didn’t realize how reckless I was about pouring tea :)"

"This is my first gaiwan, so while I have nothing to compare it to, it has been an absolute joy to brew in, not to mention beautiful! Only possible complaint is that the cups get a bit hot in the hand (not to an unmanageable level though), and are a bit on the heavy side, especially if I want to use my cha jia to move them. Overall though, I'm incredibly happy with my purchase!"
