Liming Tea Factory in cooperation with the Man Ke Village Tea Cooperative has established a certified organic tea garden in the mountainous area of Jiangcheng (Simao, but just north of Yi Wu).

The Man Ke Village tea garden is at 1300 meters and is comprised of both natural growing tea trees and plantation bushes.  This tea cake is comprised entirely from first flush spring tea!   It's incredibly potent tea with a balanced blend of sweet, malty, bitter, astringent, and fruity!  Great long lasting mouth-feel and high level cha qi!

"With spring arriving, my taste buds have once again decided that they really enjoy young sheng. I grabbed a sample of this cake because I enjoy some of Liming's semi-aged cakes and wanted to see what they were currently producing. Long story short, it's an incredible tea. As the description says, it has a great balance of everything you could want in young puerh, except maybe for the orchid aroma/taste you find sometimes in brand-new puerh. I used 4.1g in the 60ml gaiwan sold here. Tea is thick, buttery. As soon as it enters my mouth, all the taste buds on the surface of my tongue come alive. I can tell it is strong and bitter, meaning it will be excellent as it ages. At the same time, it's sweet and thirst quenching, demanding to be drank right away. Good to the last drop, I will definitely be picking up a cake to drink through the hot summer."

would this be a good Sheng for aging?
Yes it would age well! It's very potent tea and it's processed correctly, so it will age gracefully. Liming has a pretty long history with plenty of good aged teas, so I trust them as well.
