Black "Rain Drops" style glazing on the outside of the gaiwan and smooth beige-cream on the inside.  Very nice feel to the gaiwan and easy to position and hold.  Symmetry is good as well.

High quality material and craftmanship! 

Volume is 140ml (measured to the brim without lid)

"Well made gaiwan. The pouring is nice. The way you can lock the lid on the side is very secured. The taste is a good neutral as the small white gaiwan you can find on this website. When filled just under the lid, it makes exactly 2 Jingdezhen ribbed cups. Being wide you can easily move the leaves with the lid when brewing. After trying many gaiwans I'm very happy with this one. Good quality, good look, good taste, good feeling when using it."

"To be honest, this is my first gaiwan. its design caught me very quickly since its grey-black colour, with its nicley done rim and overall quality. its can get real hot but im not sure if thats normal, what i liked ther most is that you can enjoy the back gaiwan and in the same time have beautiful cracks in the white porcelain inside."
