Entirely spring 2023 harvested tea from pure assamica bushes growing in Meng Song village. Meng Song village is northwest from the Nan Nuo mountains and is a very famous tea producing area in Menghai County of Xishuangbanna.

This is a fruity and sweet (like sugarcane juice) white tea that will improve wonderfully with age. Thick and viscous, it will go many steeps!

April 2023 Harvest (pressed in June 5th, 2023)

250 Grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong)

"Dry leaves smell of plug tobacco and gold raisins. Wet leaves turn the tobacco to fig with raspberry jam while the raisins remain fully. The wash is in the gutter, and the first steep changed the raspberry jam to dark sour cherry, while the raisins persist. In the clear, golden liquor, a hint of raisins remain, while the plug tobacco returns as if it had never left, and bubbles stick in the middle as if they were set in geletin. On the palate it is sweet cherry/raisin tobacco. By the 4th steep the cherry and raisins have all but dissapated and the tobacco is still standing. Its not until the 6th round that the bubbles scramble to the rim of the cup. This is a thick, rich and forgiving tea as long as you don't overdo the first few steeps. Although the 3rd and 4th steeps have the fullest flavor, the steeps can go on and on. I would recomend this tea to anyone. Especially at its more-than-reasonable price."
