To celebrate the Year of the Pig we created this potent little tuo cha for those who enjoy the convenience of a little single serving tea. We used lab tested (tested for 191 Pesticides) tea leaves from Xiao Hu Sai Village and Da Xue Shan tea bushes from the autumn harvest to create this potent little "tuo cha".

At Yunnan Sourcing our aim is to improve on the tradition of which we are just a small part. These little mini tuo are composed of high quality, strong and balanced tasting, and pesticide free!

Each mini tuo is approximately 6 grams (+/- 1 gram). The wrappers are generic with no reference to Yunnan Sourcing.

This tea has been tested in a certified laboratory for 191 pesticides, and is within the EU MRL limits set for those 191 pesticide residues. For a full list of the 191 pesticides we tested for and more information about MRL testing and the EU Food and Safety commission click on this link.

This cake doesn't stop!

"I regularly drink sheng/raw pu erh, however these little disks give more infusions that most of the cakes I've had do. The leafs are NOT whole, they are basically scraps and flakes compressed into a VERY tight disk. That said, this disk does not stop! I was about 10+ infusions in, the core of the cake was still unraveling, and I ended up having to cut the session short due to other obligations. It is not a complex cake, it's actually very basic. However if you're on the go these take up no space and you will be set!"

Tightly compressed, but great drinker

"I'm just getting into Sheng.. so take this with a grain of salt. Very tightly compressed tuo. The core was still unraveling after 5 infusions. With that being said, this is a rich and round cup. Straw, sweetness, medium + textural richness, delicate fruit, low- bitterness, low-astringency. This isn't the most compex raw puerh that I've had, but will purchase again and recommend simply for ease of brewing and convenience paired with a quality cup."
