We are proud to invite you to experience our first ever production from Long Tan Village (龙塘 Dragon Pool)!  Long Tang village is a small village in the northern part of Jinggu county at an altitude of 1500 meters. 

Our Spring 2018 production is from tea gardens of two families and is picked from 80-200 year old tea trees.  The total production for both families being around 50 kilograms.

The tea is strong in taste and cha qi.  Instead of trying to describe the indescribable I Implore you to try a sample of this tea and experience it directly!

"Big, beautiful, loosely compressed leaves. Wonderful fruity aroma from the dry leaf; sweet damp earth aroma from the wet leaf. Tea liquor is deceptively light and fruity in the first steeps (I didn't get the thick or creamy qualities other reviewers have described), followed by moderate astringency and bitterness and a hint of sweetness. What really sets this tea apart is its laser-like clarity. The flavors and characteristics are clean, clear, and precise, and a testament to the virtue of single village, single origin teas. More clearly perhaps than any other YS raw puerh I've tasted, this tea tells the story of, and transports me to, a specific harvest, from a specific tea garden and village. It's also delicious, and very drinkable for such a young sheng."

"For a tea that was picked only this year it is extremely round and lacks the overbearing harshness of your average newly picked spring sheng. It has a consistent and strong sweetness to it. Notes of cantaloupe and grass."
