"The 'plum blossom' is there, more in the dried plum aroma and taste though. Gong fu and Grandpa brewed, over and under heat wise and dose, to find where the aroma and taste emerge. (5g -100ml, 6g-100ml, 7g-100ml and 212f, 200f, 195f for all three dosages). It's there, like any tea, it requires consistent discipline, patience, and pausing to taste and allow time for the cha qi to emerge within. Worth adding into the daily drinker rotation for the aroma/taste and cha qi, a great "bang for the buck" value tea. Get a tong, it's pressed well but comes apart and loosens up when brewing."

"Love these little guys. This is my go-to ripe when I'm traveling for work. Not just because of its compact nature, but because it's proven to be a solid tea that can hold its own against varying water qualities and brewing conditions. Fermentation seems to be on the lighter side and gives me a wonderful, steady energy to get me through the morning and afternoon. Balanced ripe flavors with a nice bright kick.. ..and there is something really satisfying about chiseling off layers of this small but mighty cake. Excellent QPR. Do yourself a favor a buy a tong!
