Can't go wrong tea

"This, the Spring Impression, and Impression cakes are just great blended cakes by YS. I like all of them and each has its own spirit but all are outstanding values. Can't go wrong teas."

strong fruity and flowery

"Very potent tea, good focus and uplifting energy after drinking. It hits hard in flavor, starting with a strong, somewhat bitter brew that quickly reveals it's long lingering aftertaste of sweet oranges and lavender. This is quite a unique tea, it may not be the cheapest around but my god it brings quality to the table."

such a great tea

"its no surprise the US site sold out of cakes of this one, had to buy a bunch of samples at first - really excellent blend, bought a cake for aging from here as well - kudos to XY - this and the 2019 Impression are a very impressive combo"

XY Tea Club Favorite!

"tl;dr thick, bitter-sweet, lingering taste, sticky viscous mouthfeel What immediately stands out is the pungent sweet sour fragrance of the dry leaf, which transforms in an evenly unpronounced but thick fragrance after the first rinse. First infusion sets the tone for the session. While the nose of this tea remains evenly and thick, the mouthfeel and flavor seem to be where it inspires me to pay attention. It's almost creamy like cream, has a bitterness that transforms into sweetness and astringency that please the mouth. Having enjoyed several sessions with this tea, my experience is that you can push it, which results in a sticky viscous brews where the bitter transforms quickly to sweetness. A flavour which lingers on in the mouth even after half an hour after drinking."

Powerful, smooth blend

"Great balance of flavour, sweetness and just a hint of bitterness. Add in an incredibly strong chaqi, and a low price for it's quality. One of my favorite young shengs this year. However, don't drink after dark if you want to sleep!"

Sweet and thick

"This tea has a nice fruity, tropical sweetness and a thick syrupy body balanced out by a bit of bitterness. Very tasty tea!"

Thomas P. (5/5)

Powerful tea

"Of the YS-brand 2019 teas I have sampled, this is one of my favorites. This tea has a thick texture and a lot of flavor. Very in your face on the front end, with a sweet aftertaste that lasts quite a while."
