Result of aging
"I bought it on 2021, break it into 3 parts and aged 1 on a clay tin with some airflow, another in a plastic freezing bag which I open every few weeks to refresh air inside, and another on vacuum. The vacuum one tastes exactly as it tasted when arrived, sweet, but muted, after 2 weeks opened it mellowed but also showed a slightly spicy flavor. The part aged on a tin is very mellow, but the salivation is very very pronounced and somatimes the huigan is very spicy-bitter. The one aged on the plastic bag is very similar to the one aged in a clay tin with airflow, almos no difference. Note that the one on vacuum, after opening was changing very fast, and 2 weeks after was also close to the other two. Usually I use 9gr on a 175ml jianshui teapot with fast (0s rinse, 20s rinse, 10,15,20,25,30,35,45,60,75,90,120,....) steeping or 5'5g with longer ones (0s rinse, 20s rinse, 25,20,25,35,45,,60,90,120,150,180,...). With this tea I discovered that less is more and 6gr with fast steepings gives a light but sweeter and more cozy tea, that even people tht don't like thea enjoy."

Holy cow
"Got a sample In the First Steps sampler. I had never had a puehr tea before, and the idea of a wet piled tea had me thinking it would be nasty. The smell In the bag took me back to childhood when I loved to visit local pet stores which always had the smell of wood shavings for hamster cages and a pleasantly fermented smelling aquarium section. A pleasant smell but I couldn’t imagine something brewed from this tasting good. This knocked my socks off. Creamy, woody, sweet, hints of vanilla/ maple, and pipe tobacco. Perfect for sipping next to a fire. Incredibly soothing and left me with a pleasant body buzz. I can’t believe tea can be like this. Genius to include in a sampler because now I’m hooked."

This tea has great woody,
"This tea has great woody, sweet, and chocolate notes, but no funk. The body feel is mellow, but very refreshing. The infusions kept going with good aroma and flavour. I just placed my re-order for Cozy. It will be my first Pu-erh cake order. Cant wait for it to arrive. On another note I want to thank Yunnan Sourcing for their great customer service."

Like Creamy Chocolate Milk by a Warm Fireside
"My favorite ripe I've ever had. It's so creamy and silky and has so much going on for it. It's got a milky creaminess with chocolate notes taking the front seat, with a sugary sweetness riding in the back. Definitely lots of cha tou nuggets of goodness in this one. Very, very pleasant and inviting. Oh, and it also has the cutest/best wrapper for a cake I've seen yet. Love it!"
