This is entirely 2015 spring harvested Gong Mei White Tea from Fuding area of Fujian. It was aged in a clean/dry storage condition until it was pressed on April 10th 2018, and then stored in Kunming thereafter.

The taste of the tea is ultra smooth and sweet with notes of malt, sugarcane and the slightest vegetal umami taste.  It reminds me of a marriage of a tippy Yunnan Black tea and Bai Mu Dan.  There is a kind of hay/grass taste that is complemented with a thick mouthfeel and sweet honey taste.   We also offer another 2012 Gong Mei cake that is 3 years older here!

Gong Mei is considered to be 3rd grade Fuding White Tea, sharing character with both Bai Mu Dan and Shou Mei.

Fuding Bai Cha In order of tippiest to coarsest:

1st Grade - Bai Hao Yin Zhen (Silver Needles)

2nd Grade - Bai Mu Dan

3rd Grade - Gong Mei

4th grade - Shou Mei

Great services

"Everything arrived quickly and on time, shipping prices would be my only complaint but I understand that's not the fault of YS."

Nice tea for a good price

"I really like this white tea. For a good price you get a tea which you can drink every day. Very tasty and good for several brews."

A Nice Gong Mei to Add to Your Collection

"I decided to try this tea cake after I saw the video Scott & Xiao did about the Bao Feng Xiang Ji Gong Mei aged 6 years by the same producers. My goal was to find a white tea cake I liked as much as a 2018 Fuding Gong Mei White tea cake I had gotten as a freebie from YS which opened up my world to how much I liked white teas! Each tea is unique and it's unlikely to replace a loved tea once it's gone, but I aggre with Xiao this is a very nice daily drinker and good value for cost."

"One of the best tea I drunk."

Love this tea!

"Aged whites were my first love in fine tea and this one has all the best characteristics. The balance of light, fruity flavor and deeper base earthiness is very good. The tea makes many steep and boils well if you are so inclined. This is a good example of how approachable and friendly an aged white can be."
