Proceed with care
"Worth trying tea - of course, honey aroma as title suggests, but also dried peach, floral, and more bitterness than I was expecting, with thick soup. No particular body sensation on short term (ie. no tea drunk effect) - likely energetic during the day. I suggest brewing this one at max 85 Celsius though, as anything above will make it way too bitter, hence my 4 star rating. Leafs look nice, soup color is also cool. Not in my top pu'ers I drank though, given the bitter effect."

Great beginner puerh!
"Sweet on the tongue, quite a clean and robust flavor. I really enjoyed this tea and it’s a great entry into puerh."

Like it raw
"It's a raw puer. Taste a little green, a little bitter, sweet after taste. Wakes up the brain. Not quite like a green, but like a raw heady feel. And like a raw puer, there are lots of steps. I do not recommend Grandpa style unless you enjoy that bitter tea taste (I do, feels great in body later)"

Alas, sweet sorrow. . .
"There is only one way to truly ever know a cake is good. After I drink it up in a month usually, do I remember years later. I remember this one when the leaf was probably 3 years old, although I prefer fresh raw leaf in the first couple years of harvest. To leaf or not to leaf, the passing of moment always passes."

Nice earthy aroma not too
"Nice earthy aroma not too funky. Autumn leaves with a bit of a honey finish."

AMAZING AGING POTENTIAL
"Typically I'd give this tea only three stars, however, I think it has amazing potential to be aged further by hobbyists. While it currently has some sourness and astringency, it is not unpleasant and I believe it could evolve into something amazing over time... especially with it's unique aroma that cold come out in the taste as it mellows and brightens further with age."

Lingering taste of sweetness
"I am tearing myself in half trying to decide whether or not to buy a tong of this tea. I received a cake of this as a BOGO offer, and it became a staple in my tea diet. When I first received it a few months ago, the soup was yellow like in the picture. Now after a few months of storage the broth has become orange, and the aroma is just so potent it fills the room. It is hard to describe the wet leaf smell with technical words, so I'll just say that it smells like heaven. And that aroma is very present in flavor as well. Two days ago I brewed 14 grams of this in my pot, and just kept drinking it. The notes of the tea stuck to my tongue for the rest of the day. It didn't matter what else I ate or drank during that time. It just coats your mouth like that. As for the quality of the tea itself, it's not the best, but its very good. Many whole leaves, some huang pian. The compression of the cake is very forgiving. I am able to pry open the leaves with just my fingers , preserving the integrity of the tea. I can't recommend this tea enough."

Lovely
"Delicious and potent sheng. Not overly bitter but still packs a punch. Will probably age gracefully"

Mellow and soft, but not too sweet.
"Very light compression and easy to break apart. Sweet but not honey syrup. Mellow, soft raw puer. Starts off quite light, but gets more flavourful after each infusion. Taste like an aged puerh, abit of funk that is quite earthy."

5 Stars for value
"This tea is just excellent value, you get a good, easy-going, simple, flowery-fresh, nectar-like, mild tea that delivers from the beginning and will last for quite some steepings. Not very complex or something that has never been seen before, but it is a beautiful young Jingmai tea. At this price it is almost flabbergasting!"
