Even when it gets really diluted in the last few brews or when you accidentally use too little tea, the flavor is still easy to taste & smell. The leaves looks really pretty sitting in the bottom of the pint glass/beer mug I brew it in, this tea truly feels medicinal.
To brew in a pint glass/beer mug, I bring water to a boil & then let it cool for a few minutes before pouring; I add 3 teaspoons of the leaves or less to my glass, & then I pour a little bit of water over the leaves & swirl them for 10 seconds, then I fill the glass the rest of the way with water. Some people prefer to dump the wash, but so far, I'm not convinced that is necessary. I stir the tea a couple times after I've brewed it too.
If you pour boiling water straight onto this tea's leaves, your brew will come out bitter, it will still be drinkable, but most people prefer their tea with little to no bitterness. Read LessRead less about This was one of my first 2 teas from
