"Arrived safely, and offers excellent price to quality ratio. I use it daily now and which has definitely improved my brewing practice. I don’t know if this is intentional in the design but the sprout has a very slight left tilt, that gives it a clean and smooth pour (if you are a right hander)"

Nice design but quality control not so good

"The sharp spout pours well with little to no dripping and the hammered glass is attractive. However, the bottom is uneven, a glob of glass is mounded up higher on one side compared to the other. It does not affect the functionality of the cha hai but it is one of those imperfections that is bothersome every time you look at it. I would add photos but do not see a way to do so even though there is a drop down to filter by Images & Videos on existing reviews."

Love the obscured glass 4.5 out of 5.0

"I have several Cha Hai (fairness cup, Gong Dao Bai whatever you want to call them), many purchased from this very source from Scott over the years. Some of them are clay, porcelain and glass of various shapes, styles, ornamentation and simplicity. While I use and enjoy them all, I'm drawn toward those that are glass because you can see through the tea to judge the clarity of the "soup" and use very easily one of the fine mesh strainers to keep out any small particles from the leaf material. Having said that I really love this one but it is a bit wider than I expected so the strainer is a little hard to get it to remain over the top to catch any little bits you may not want to drink. Since it is wider it can be a bit cumbersome if you have a smaller hand which also brings me to the heat retention. The sides being glass and with out any "knobs" on the side to help with the temperature does tend to be pretty HOT so be careful when picking it up to pour into your cups. Very nice though, these are just minor annooyances that can be overlooked so all in all I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5.0!!! Well worth the price and it's a very attractive addition to any tea collection."
