"Now after having drunk over half of this cake, I find that one of the most remarkable aspects of this tea is its simultaneous depth and complexity paired with a very specific boiled artichoke flavour - a similiarity unlike any other I've come across in my years of tea tasting. This flavour is accentuated by a scent that reminds me of an elusive white flower, I can't quite put my finger on what it could be. This comes along with a sweetness resembling some exotic fruit that I likely have never tasted before. In general, the tea's sweetness is quite notable and I found the bitterness to be pretty much non-existent, even at the tail end of the drinking sessions. A very pure and refined mouthfeel overall. All things considered, an exquisite tea and one of my favourites so far. I am not an expert on judging the age of the trees or the quality of the leaf, but examining the dry and wet leaves of this tea (with my experience of old arbor sheng), I get the feeling that I'm getting more than what I paid for. Highly recommended, I hope this will be available in the future!"
