Another wonderful Guangdong dry-storage Changtai cake made in honor of Hong Kong's Tong An Teahouse!

A blend of high quality wild arbor material from spring 2006 was blended together and then pressed into this potent (and now) well-aged raw tea cake.   Thick, smooth and complex with a nice bubbly cha qi makes this tea a must-have for lovers of semi-aged sheng.  It's also an excellent example of how nice a clean dry-stored Guangdong raw pu-erh can be!

Limited Quantity

400 Grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong)

** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!

Really great.

"Review based on a .us site sample. This tea really delivered well on my expectations. I like it very much. I got a sample along with the bulang changtai. This one is a little pricier and that's not surprising. At under a 100 bucks with the quality, age and nice storage it's definitely still a value in my book. I like the wrapper, btw. I did find that I prefer the bulang changtai offering but that is personal preference and would not be surprised to find many would prefer this one. Really worth your interest. Get a sample if the listing appeals."

Best 2006 Changtai on YS

"After sampling three Changtai 2006 on this website, I immediately ordered a cake of this one for Christmas, and I won't order the other ones. I won't go into a detailed description of aromas and effect, let's just say it's well balanced. Taste is rich but easy-going. Cha Qi is strong but not agressive, exactly what I expect from drinking semi-aged. Price is fair for that quality"
