This is a "Moonlight" white tea production from Zu Xiang tea factory.  The raw material is from their Wu Liang mountain area organic tea garden and was harvested in Late March 2017 and pressed in early 2018.

Moonlight White Tea is a Yunnan style of minimally processed white, much like Fuding Bai Mu Dan, Gong Mei, and Shou Mei.

This is a deliciously sweet and fruity tea that with additional aging will become even smoother and creamier.  Very tasty with a hint of black tea character (honey aroma).

My Desert Island White Tea

"Absolutely phenomenal white tea! Rich, sweet, thick, creamy vanilla/sugarcane (much like YS' Wu Liang Shan raw puerhs), fruity / floral, with honey character very much reminiscent of a pure bud Yunnan black tea. The dry / wet leaf aroma is heaven. Ultra thick body is chewy and feels like drinking pudding. The texture of the tea soup is as soothing and satisfying as the flavor / aroma and it leaves a coating in my mouth with long aftertaste. Nice mellowing mind/body feeling. White tea usually gives me more consecutive gong fu style steeps than most other teas, but this one just will not quit no matter what and I usually lose count. Just when I think 'this should be the last one', I get yet another flavorful cup even after a 20+ min long steep. It's a zombie tea for sure. After trying a sample, I picked up 3 cakes and can't... stop... hoarding for the long term haha. While trying to research more about this brand I saw another vendor lists this cake at a gouging price nearly triple what YS offers it for and for the same harvest/pressing year. I appreciate YS' honesty! This tea certainly does have that 'expensive' character to it though haha. Highly recommended!"

Excellent complex white tea

"This is really an excellent white tea that is so different from any other white teas that I have tried. It has the typical sweetness, fruitiness and delicatessen of a white tea but with more complexity of flavors. It’s so incredibly smooth and delicious. I bought a sample 25 gram but will soon purchase a couple of cakes."
