For our 2013 production we used 2013 Yong De area ripe tea from spring harvest. This lovely semi-aged blend of ripe tea was mixed with Kunlun Snow Chrysanthemum flowers, and pressed into these lovely 100 gram mini cakes.

The aroma and taste of the tea and flowers together is just exquisite. They complement each other with a spicy and sweet taste that lasts 10+ infusions.

100 grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong)

A delightful blend

"Considering how cheap this was for a pu erh cake I was not disappointed with this tea, very rich and warm, and the texture was medium thick and silky. I'm always worried about quality when buying ripe pu erh, and that there might be some wet pile aroma from the fermentation process, however this tea had none and had a very herbal and slightly malty oat biscuit like flavour note which was very pleasant. I'd say this tea when brewed gongfu style can last up to 15 (maybe 20) infusions. Definitely the ideal drink after a heavy meal on a cold evening. Would recommend :)"
