2019 Yunnan Sourcing "Ye Zhu Shan" Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake
Ye Zhu Shan is a Jinggu area mountain (野猪山 lit. Wild Pig Mountain) east and a bit south of Jinggu town near the village of Wang Jia Zhai (up hill from the Nanyang River). Our production is pressed from first flush of spring tea harvested in April from wild arbor tea trees (roughly 80 to 120 years old).
Thick, pungent and viscous with a cooling sensation in the mouth and throat. Very balanced bitter/astringency.
