"Heaven's Door" is an old arbor tea harvested in spring 2024 from the Yi Wu area of Xishuangbanna! Plenty of Yi Wu sweetness with a thick character and a long lasting buttery mouthfeel that one associates with Yi Wu area large leaf (大叶种) varietal tea.

250 Grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong)

240 cakes in total pressed! (60kg)

"Bitterness is the main feature of the flavor, but it is indeed soft. Sweet would be the wrong word entirely, but soft, round, attractive raw puerh bitterness. There is an underlying vegetal flavor that works very well here. This isn’t totally different from other sheng I’ve tried, but then again, it is definitely different in its composition, softness, and balance that makes it unique in my collection (which is, unfortunately, light in YiWu). I really enjoy it. Cha qi is mellow but powerful and occupies the whole body. It is well behaved and integrated for so young a tea. Very happy to have a cake. I look forward to drinking on this as it ages, because it is already tasty."
