Entirely Wu Liang Mountain area tea from certified organic tea gardens! These ultra mini cakes are individually wrapped and are pressed into a convenient 6 grams cake shape that can be easily broken in half (3 grams each half). Excellent tasting tea that can be enjoyed without the need to carry a prying knife and a scale. Just grab a few and go!

Just like other Zu Xiang productions this is a tasty ripe pu-erh tea that will age gracefully as time passes! Thick cacao bitter meets earthy mushroom broth sweetness with hints of dried fruit makes this a sure bet for those who are seeking a tasty ripe pu-erh that is certified organic!

Each mini cake is roughly 6 grams of tea These are sold by weight and the weight includes the weight of the wrapper.

A really good Pu-erh

"It is a lovely tea; slightly lighter than the square organic mini bricks (Yunnan Sourcing Certified Organic Ripe Pu-erh Tea Mini Bricks) but it is a very good tea, mellow and mild with no bitterness, it turns quite dark if steeped long enough. One coin is perfect for a large cup, about 1/2 litre. I alternate between the square bricks (can be used for two large cups) and these coin shaped pu-erhs. I can really recommend both."

Great value! Great quality!

"Received a couple of these “coins” as a free sample with my recent order. I am happy that this was sent as a sample, because I often shy away from organic teas because I have heard that they are often inferior. This is the first ripe pu-erh that wowed me. Has the familiar sandalwood notes like other ripe teas I have tried, and a touch of rose florals (a favorite of mine – I like rose florals). But what clinches it for me is there is a little something extra – a nice twist of licorice-like flavor to make things really interesting. Unusual for Yunnan Sourcing in that there are no dates of production listed for this tea, so not sure how new/old it is. It was listed on the website only pretty recently, I believe, so might be kind of new. No off/fishy tastes here in my opinion, and this is ready to drink right now. Definitely want to pick up some of these on my next order, and best thing is not a very high price!"
