Our Middle Mountain Saturn Peach Aroma 蟠桃香 Dan Cong Oolong is grown in Shi Tou Jiao Di Village at an altitude of 980 Meters. It comes from trees and bushes growing naturally aged 20-80 years of age. No pesticides or artificial fertilizers were used.

This is a medium+ level of roast, that was laboriously roasted, rested and re-roasted many times to achieve a high level of aroma and body. Further aging will benefit this tea as the roast taste transforms this tea in a bouquet of fruit, honey and orchids!

Origin of the name: It is named "Saturn Peach" because it resembles the fragrance of peach. It also has this scent only because of its reputation in the sky, so it is named "Saturn Peach."

Features: The aroma is similar to that of peach, the fruity aroma is obvious, and the tea soup is fresh and smooth. Steeps many times, while retaining a lasting sweetness.

"I like dancongs, I drink them almost daily and buy widely, and this is, earnestly, one of the best teas I've ever had. Other reviews are correct that the peach note is more of an aroma, but if your palate is attuned to yanchas you'll definitely be able to pick up on the soft acidity of a white peach in the nasal finish."

"Fragrant, peach-leaf aroma, so if you come expecting sugary peach you might be disappointed. Great on its own or as latte like peach milk tea. It's light and easy to drink 😋 For maximum peach enjoyment, I like to put in honey that has been used to steep peach peels. Double peach, double delight 🍑"

Worth Drinking

"I don’t think there is much relation between this and peaches, I’ve got the 2025 spring version. But, it is incredibly floral on the palate and long enduring for gongfu sessions. It is reminiscent of high mountain Taiwanese oolongs, which I absolutely adore. Has a decent body and satisfactory mouthfeel. I’ll be repurchasing this one for sure, or even 2024 one for comparison."

Peach for days

"I was a bit skeptical about just how much this could smell/taste like peach, but holy moly I was wrong in the best possible way. This reminds me of peach flavored bubble gum sold at Asian grocers, so intense you barely believe it isn’t artificial (in a good way). You get just enough of the nai Xiang (milk aroma) to make it feel like you’re sipping on peaches and cream. I could truly drink this all day, every day. Waiting for the 2024 spring harvest to order some more!"
