"I tried some cooked puerh over the years and didn’t like at all. I then convinced myself to try very old and more expensive ones to see if they are better since taste is supposed to improve with time and I don’t really know much about dark tea so I tried this very old taster. You get to try big name brand aged for over 20 years and see for yourself if worth investing in one that fits your taste. Tasted so far a lot better than the fishy and manure smell and taste I got from other cheaper dark tea I have tried in the past. You got to get used to it if you’re new to that kind of tea. They do taste like earth mixed with old fall leaves, but in a good way once you expect it… kind of hard to explain. I will still and always prefer Japanese green, oolong, black and raw puerh tea for taste, but studies shows that lots of health benefits can only come from pile fermented dark tea so might as well find one your can enjoy to drink if you can and start drinking. This taster set is perfect for that. I rinsed 2 times as I don’t really trust 20+ years in Chinese storage and of all 4 tried so far in the set, quality seems great and no funk at all. Gong fu style 5g tea after 2 rinses I still got 12-20 150ml infusions with all of them. These teas last forever. Very fast infusion at first can help with a too strong taste and longer ones the end still gives clear dark brown enjoyable liquor. You can steep 2-5 minutes, it will never get bitter. Don’t buy cheap and young shu puerh for first time trying, you’ll be extremely disappointed. Try the older you can afford from a good reputation retailer (for better storage quality). The more you drink it, easier it is to find things you enjoy in it …. My 2 cents advice I would have liked to get years ago."

"great selection of premium tea!!!"
"A wonderful assortment of fine, aged puer er teas. I liked especially that it had samples from two different techniques used in the aging process. And I found one tea, that is among my all time favorites."
