Tea of Nostalgy
"Once, 14 years ago, I visited the Wu Yi Shan. There, I tasted many teas and selected several, most impressive. One of them was the Chun Lan. Now I have bought the Spring 2023 Chun Lan. It brought me back in time, to the aromas of ancient wooden Wu Yi temples. It has a dense, creamy body and a harmonious aroma, with light tannins and a characterful rock-tea minerality. Tender, sweet notes of orchids, water lilies, with a nice long aftertaste, mix of light smoke and mountain fog."

High Taste, Low Cost
"I usually am hesitant writing reviews - I tend to only review teas I either really like or dislike. This tea is amazing. And I base this on price/quality ratio. I am a well-versed Wuyi Yan Cha (rock tea) oolong drinker. These teas tend to come at stiff price, and usually the cheaper ones tend to be lack luster. This one however, despite its low price-point tastes like a proper Yan Cha - a well balanced one too. Good initial taste, good mouth feel and slight mineral after-taste. Good for beginners, but also worth a try for Yan Cha lovers who want a daily drinker, that actually does not feel like just a daily drinker, if you see what I mean. Summary: One of the best (if not) Yan Chas out there in this price range."

Very Rich and Buttery
"I'm newer to trying oolongs and I initially liked this tea at a tasting event, so I bought 50g of tea for myself. I just might not like oolongs as daily drinkers, but I have gotten tired of this tea. I think it is because it is a very rich and flavorful tea, tasting very oily or buttery. Amazing tea, but maybe only for special occasions."

Great Tea at a Daily Drinking price
"Purchased the 2023 harvest. Bag came in good condition with lots of long, full leaves. This tea has become a daily drinker of mine! While it doesn't last as many steeps as some of my rock oolongs, it also has this delicious honey-cinnamon taste almost like a bug bitten tea, but a lot lighter. Astringency was light and refreshing like most rock oolongs I've tried. Overall I think this tea, while it didn't blow me away or anything, is a great value for the price."

Good stuff
"Happy to find something in price range - Very affordable and amazing for the price. The description kind of hits the nail on the head with regards to flavor notes. It isn't a massive flavor explosion like Duck Shit Aroma and isn't super floral like Tai Guan Yin. It isn't overly roasted and still has hints of green if you look. Solid, affordable, flavorful tea."

Good
"Good tea for a regular use, nice flavors. A bit on the light side for my taste but very fragrant first steep."

Nice Tea!
"The description of this tea above is right on, but would add that the smell and taste had hints of a squeezed cloverleaf stem. Would definitely buy again."
