From the Mengyang Guoyan Tea Factory, this lovely Banna Aged ripe pu-erh tea cake is perfect to enjoy right now!  Dong Guoyan is an ex-Menghai tea factory blender who started the Mengyang Guoyan tea factory in 2003.  The tea factory is located in Mengyang town north of Jinghong in Xishuangbanna and the material for this wet piling batch was procured in the Youle area.  Dong Guoyan also oversaw the wet piling of this lovely tea.  The tea has been aged in Banna in a storage condition for 12 years.  The result is an ultra smooth ripe pu-erh tea with a creamy aged taste.  The tea produces a deep burgundy hued tea soup and can be infused 12-15 times!

Highly recommended for fans of super smooth but complex and textured ripe pu-erhs!

** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!

Excellent mature ripe tea.

"Sampling my cake based upon a recomendation. The cake is light to medium packed. The leaves are small when rendered. The flavor has s a nice well-balanced smoothnes and sweetness to it. A nice mild aroma that corresponds to the flavors. Not weak and definite not robust. It has a nice balanced flavor that shows a really good aged ripe tea's potential. Your mouth welcomes this tea and it is very enjoyable after several renderings. It is an excellent tea to have in your library and share with friends who want to enjoy really good pu-erh."

This might be the best

"This might be the best Puer Tea I have purchased from Yunnan Sourcing. It steeps to a nice, rich amber and tastes smooth. I only ordered a tiny sample but will be buying the whole thing soon. One of those big discs will last for ages, so its worth the money. It is very good! Order a small sample and I'm sure you'll agree and buy a big one like I am.
