Like a whiskey-dipped cuban cigar
"Fantastic aged tea. To my uncultured American palate, this tea has a strong quality of leather and tobacco, with an oaky note not unlike a good whiskey. The similarities with a cuban cigar are uncanny, and very much welcomed! The minerality is definitely there and reminds me of fresh rain hitting a dusty road."

The best Da hong pao that I've tried
"My friend is a big fan of Da Hong Pao, and after a long separation, when we met, we drank this foreign tea. I would compare the blend and pleasant astringency with long-term elite whiskey. Incredible tea!"

Good aged dark oolong
"An interesting dark oolong, aged, with roasted notes in the taste. Has a pronounced individual taste. The dry leaf is large with a woody smell. The brewed leaf has a deep taste, aroma with notes of roasted nuts, spices, smoky, with a slight mineral bitterness, with notes of autumn leaves on wet ground. This tea is somewhat reminiscent of Shu-puer. The effect is warming, invigorating, calming. Changes color during the spills from amber to rich red. It's a great tea, especially during the autumn and winter seasons."

Fragrant-heavy, but mild flavours
"More fragrant-heavy than it has flavour. The first couple of brews were smooth and light texturally, but also very mild on taste. In later brews (4+), the currant sweetness does come out a bit, but it is still otherwise mild. The tea would benefit from longer steeps, perhaps grandpa-style."
