A lovely ripe tea made from Lincang and Menghai Spring 2016 harvested tea! Their old fermentation master Dong Guo Hong came out of retirement to oversee this incredibly special "wo dui" fermentation process.

The result is a powerful ripe tea that reminds us that ripe pu-erh can be made from high quality tea leaves. Tea leaves that could have just as easily been processed into a very drinkable raw pu-erh cake! Thick and pungent taste, thick tea soup, and strong camphor aroma this tea will go ten rounds easily without getting boring. Further aging will surely make this a sought after ripe pu-erh!

Loving the experience

"Couldn’t be happier with my order. First time customer and ordered around 30 different teas. Can’t wait to order more!"

Tasty tea for a good price

"I'm no tea expert, but I really enjoy this one. It tastes delicious, and for the price I think it's a great buy."

Kaden G. (5/5)

Great daily drinker

"This tea brews and brews again, and tastes out of its price bracket. I didn't expect much, but I am pleasantly surprised. No fishiness or wet pile flavor, instead, smooth ripe puer taste. Perhaps nothing special, but a great daily drinker."

Tremendous value

"$24 for a good 357gm ripe beeng in 2021....THAT's a bargain. Early three steeps had thick mouthfeel yet clean fragrance, but my 4th round didn't stand up to a flash steep and the body fell away while a touch of astringency emerged. All was made good when I dropped the temp to mid-80s Celsius and lengthened the brew. With that gentler approach, this nice tea comfortably made it to round 8 before I stopped. It probably could've kept delivering sweet water for a couple more rounds. Shall have to pace myself to see how it ages."

Becoming one of my favorite ripes

"I got this from the YS USA site a few weeks back, and was thoroughly surprised by how delicious this was. It's a very long-lasting tea, and the brews are quite even, providing deep and lingering camphor, woods, and sticky jujubes. We even detected a hint of watermelon rind juicy freshness to it. The price is unbelievable."

Strong brew, unbeatable price

"I was curious about how good this tea would be for such a low price; it exceeded my expectations! Brews strong, thick, and clean, tasting of nuts and camphor. Good now, could be great with age. Now I want to try the other Jiu Wan ripe..."

Dong Guo Hong, thank you, thank you, thank you.

"This is a most fabulous tasting tea. Bold, viscous, and high quality as you can get many steepings. Come on, a 357g cake for $16 bucks!!!! Stock up on this one as i am sure it will sell out soon. Plus, if it gets better with age OMG, heaven. I was shocked at how good i liked this tea because it is so young. Maybe it is the talent of the tea master Dong Guo Hong. I would love to hear others opinion on this tea made by the Jiu Wan Tea Factory which i think is just outside of Hong Kong. I will be hard pressed to not buy a tong of this tea on my next order. Tea on"
