Biography of Wang De Ming:  Wang De Ming is an Arts and Crafts teacher and a member of the China Arts and Crafts Society.  Born in the late 60's into a family of Yixing potters where in his early years he studied the classical teapot styles and their craft. By his early 20's he invented his own styles and crafted teapots entirely unique and new.  Since that time he has been awarded several times for his creative works.

Every pot is hand-made and the artisan will sometimes change the stamps they use. There may also be some slight differences in the color, handle shape, and volume. It's not possible for us to re-take the pictures for each new batch of teapots that we receive from this artisan. Some differences in the color and shininess of the actual teapot you receive as compared to the one in the photographs may also be due to light conditions when the photographs are taken. Thanks for your understanding!

Beautiful

"This is the most beautiful little jug - I keep staring at it and wondering how someone could make this by hand. It’s a little work of art."

Lovely, and enhances the tea

"I have two of Wang De Ming's high fired teapots in this style, which I've dedicated to sheng pu-erh. This is absolutely lovely, beautifully crafted, and light weight, and it enhances the tea. I can't ask for anything more in a cha hai."

Sometimes a pitcher may do the trick

"Guess the pitcher got different uses: For myself, I am a lover of rather big sized 350 ml pots. The tea may be served on a huge 300 ml and higher sized cup. However, sometimes i may use a tiny gong fu cup although may still enjoy my big class of pots becauce the leaves, especially huge Pu Erh-leaves, are able to expand further with different results. So, in order not to overbrew my tea i will need a in-between step but with equal material quality comparable to my pot. This pitcher is the true hero doing so. Its clay is very high grade, absolutely no smell. There is some metallic look hard to be catched up on a photo. Comparable to the pots made with same material the pitchers value is hard to be beaten by another pitcher with same use. So, i am really glad und happy i found something like this one."
