The "cha hai" or "gong dao bei" is a receptacle for brewed tea.  Once your brew is ready pour from teapot or gaiwan into this serving pitcher.  Don't over-infuse your tea, that's not "gong fu" style!

Volume:  350ml to the brim

Shipping weight: 230 grams

**ignore markings on the box that say this is 200ml, it's 350ml **

***Glass teaware is durable, but it is also fragile. Please make sure to properly warm your glass teaware prior to use to avoid causing thermal shock that may crack the glass.

"for the price it does the job well enough, but the spout dribbles a lot to the point where pouring from the side is much cleaner."

Excellent gongdaobei!

"Great glass pitcher! I just had it with my gongucha recently and used it as a proper gondaobei. As a way for me to just get started in the intricacies of tea tasting, I couldn't have asked for better."

Beautiful tea fair putcher however little disappointed with quality.

"If you are looking for a beautiful glass tea fair cup, this is really 'worth every penny' and nice choice. Cost is only 4.5$ and you can get 350ml!!! Big volume of nice tea fair cup. However if you're looking forward to the quality of the product, I do not want to recommend it. Especially the finishing of glass is not neat. In particular, I found small a bubbles in the glass and especially when I hold the handle with my hands, it's not soft, non-smooth, feisty, and I can see kind of scratchy finish with my eyes on the handle. Maybe I was unlucky? I've been looking for 'worth every penny' item too, so this was not matter for me, and these don't affect the way to brew and drink tea at all. The reason I gave 3 stars (this is a big minus for me) is because when you put the tea in this glass pitcher, and pour into the tea cup and pour it tea, the water and tea doesn't flow smoothly, and splashes into several places. Pour the tea as close as possible to the near teacup. I do not think I will use often this pitcher except when I need to brew many tea."

Great shape and price

"Very nice shape and balance when held. Although it doesn't drip, the pour on mine isn't the cleanest or most precise. But for the price I am very happy with it."

Size, design, pour.

"I wanted a large cha hai for stacking my infusions, and this one caught my eye. Not only is it a good size, and the design shape flows nicely. Speaking of flow, the pour results on this pitcher are very clean and precise. The glass thickness is not too much, so this does not feel too heavy in the hand. I love the price for this product, and Scott definitely keeps surprising me with lovely prices for good quality on all of his products."
