Pu'erh in orange
"A very nice tea, however not everybody may like it. The taste from the orange skin is very distinct, and adds this special "bite" on the tongue during drinking. One of my favorites."

Great gift
"I bought it as a gift for a friend who mentioned she likes Pu-erh tea, and she said she liked it, so I think that constitutes a 5 star rating."

Citrus is the best part
"After a decade of drinking puerh, finally decided to try these guys. First puerh I have ever had that has something added. I like them quite a bit. For me, the citrus is the best part. The tea is decent. The two together are quite nice. The slightly medicinal flavor of the king orange peel add pleasant, bitter component, similar to drinking a Negroni. You get the fullness and sweetness of the tea and the refreshing aspect of the orange. Definitely worth a try."

Love the citrus scent and

Soothing and Delicious.
"These make absolutely delicious tea and have incredible “patience”, easily giving 15+ steeps in a 120ml gaiwan. The taste is sweet, fragrant, and comforting. It has a soothing, pleasantly medicinal taste and a rich, oily texture. My favorite tea to drink when I’m feeling under the weather- I have already ordered more for the winter. The appealingly tiny oranges are individually wrapped and also make fantastic gifts for your teas guests!"

A delightful twist
"This Gong Ting Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cured in King Orange takes Pu-erh to another level for me. Earthy, aromatic, with a wonderful aged citrus background taste that redefined what I knew about ripe Pu-erh. Really enjoying it."

Great and conviene pu-erh for multiple brews.
"Each ball is individually shrink wrapped to preserve freshness which makes it perfect to pack and bring to work. It has a great citrus flavor that slowly gives way to the pu-erh flavor after each brew. But the citrus aroma still emits 7 brews later. I let one of my coworkers try a brew and he ordered some later that day."

Petrichor Party
"Love reading everyone's thoughts here! My initiation to this kind of tea was with the aged puerh stuffed into tangerines, and it remains my all-time favorite. When I went to reorder, curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to try this one, too. I brewed ~1.5tsp in a 4oz gaiwan at 200F (my measurements may be off/may have used too much tea). After a rinse and a ~10s steep, it's intensely earthy to the point it evokes forest mushrooms and petrichor. The citrus is very subtle, but gently lifts the brew from total earthbound darkness. While the citrus blooms somewhat with each subsequent steeping, that petrichor intensity remains throughout. (And of course, I love the "mileage" one gets from a puerh. For a tea as special as the stuffed king orange, it's nice to have multiple steeps.) I think I prefer the tangerine, only because it's more citrus-forward and brighter to my tastebuds. Personal preferences aside, however, it's clear this one is something special indeed, and I'm really looking forward to sharing it with my friends."

Heavenly citrus taste
"It's got an acidic bite like earl grey but it's pu'erh so I can steep the same tea/orange over and over again. God I think I'm in love. I ordered a bag of three oranges more out of morbid curiosity than anything else and I discovered what may be one of my top teas ever. This is a tea that you'll want to drink with planning as the cost is quite high relative to the amount of tea you get. The good news, of course, is that it's a pu'erh and you can just keep steeping the same tea over and over again. In that regard it could be extremely cost effective as one orange might last you all day where you'd be going through a canister full of earl grey leaves to make the same tea. If you enjoy fruity tasting tea at all, I highly recommend this tea. You can steep with the king orange or without and get some different tasting tea depending on your preference. HIghly recommended."

Tart and Sweet
"Tart, very fragrant citrus balanced with sweetness of gongting leaves. Most fun and visually interesting broken apart and steeped in a gaiwan. Steeps more quickly than the version stuffed with Menghai Ripe. Both are excellent. This one energizes more, while I find the Menghai Ripe version to be more conducive to relaxing. I also love to give these as favors to my tea guests!"
