"Not kidding with the bitterness, very upfront similar to the excellent Lao Man'e ripes so I assume that material is a main component of the blend. But this tea feels thicker than straight LM'e, good longevity too, the early brews give you a kick then it calms down and is very comforting (cha qi? I'm still figuring out that aspect of tea). Already very clean tasting so should be even better with a bit more time to rest. I got this as a sample when buying a cake of each Lao Man'e ripe and I'm considering adding a cake of this too for the future."
