"Ying Shan Hong" is the red-purple Rhodendron flower that once a year blankets the mountains of Yunnan in a red cloak.

Our "Ying Shan Hong" cake is a blend of Wild Purple Black tea and Snow Chrysanthemums from Spring 2015.

The taste is floral and sweet with a thick burgundy red tea soup that soothes the mouth and throat with a layer of tea and flower oils and tannins.

"I liked this tea a lot, actually it's my first purple tea tasting. As it was said in one of previous comments, it's not something complex, but something really worth trying. Rich aroma, notes of flowers and fruits embraced with solid tea body, I can't really describe it better. And it was my first purchase from this site too. "A solid tea at a great price! This tea reminded me of a wild black tea I once had from another vendor. I could taste hints of the same sharp notes that is reminiscent of ones oft found in puerh.
