Purely Yi Wu Mountain tea from semi-aged mao cha that was wet piled in 2019.  Rich and smooth tea that is pressed from whole leaf (not separated into grades according to their leaf size as is typical of many ripe productions).

The result is a very mellow and subtle sweet ripe tea.  As the wet piles fades, this tea's sweet and fruity character will become more pronounced with each passing year!

Tieguoli is a sub-brand of a small Menghai area tea factory called 政泽德福茶厂.

First time drinking Pu'Erh. Still

"First time drinking Pu'Erh. Still need to get dosage, temp and brewing time right but I like very much the leather-like taste and overall feeling I get when I brew it correctly. Some sweetness also come out sometimes, it's really fun to experiment with the diffenrents parameters and taste the results. Satisfied customer all around"

"Got this product for free. Its a very soothing tea. Very pretty color and a very good choice. Also, the BOGO for this is mislabeled and can actually be claimed for a 175$ cart!"

Everyday enjoyment.

"It is with immense gratitude that I have the opportunity to review this tea, as I was able to receive this gorgeous cake as a free gift with my purchase! The first thing I noticed about this cake upon arrival was it's smell; an aroma both gentle & fully present there, reminiscent of cucumber & petrichor; the aroma made me smile & sigh in appreciation. The cake itself is less dense than others I have had, making it a joy to get into with a chisel, versus a labour-intensive mining operation! The flavour is quite delicate across 3 steeps, but in a soothing way, with a dark coloured, light mouth-feel refreshing liquid. This tea can take a thorough steeping without losing it's character. The Qi is soft & friendly, not overly activating. Thanks to the of ease accessibility getting into the cake, coupled with the drinkability (even a Pu'Erh novice could enjoy this offering!), I rate this Pu'Erh as a perfect Everyday drinking option."

Really enjoyed this cake as

"Really enjoyed this cake as the gift with my order. I've enjoyed shous before but am definitely not an expert. Have also had shous that tasted off, that I did not like. Anyway, back to this one: it's so sweet. I get cherry, pipe tobacco, grape, wet earth, maybe pine on later infusions. Incredible value too"

amazing shou

"reviews were already saying it was great at 1 year of age but with 5 years, wow it’s so good. Truly so sweet and fruity especially in later brews. Very smooth and warm feeling and no wet pile taste. My wife is very sensitive to wet pile taste and this is one of the shou that she loves. She says it’s very smooth and clean tasting."

Nice Yiwu Ripe!

"Got this as a free gift option on my order and then forgot about it until this morning. I was surprised how good this ripe is! Thanks YS!"

A pleasant surprise

"received this for free as a promotion, its smooth and tasty - not far at all in quality from the excellent Yiwu Rooster - use some decent basic Yiwu material and it makes for a very nice ripe indeed"
