"Its exactly as pictured/as described. Has a nice weight to it. Only bother which is a really small thing and doesn't prevent it from being useful/fulfilling its job is when pouring the tea from the cha he into a gaiwan, you gotta help it. Definitely doesn't flow by itself because its on the narrow side of opening. Not a big problem tho"

Looks good, works often bad for tea . . .

". . . but I gladly use it for coffee ; ) . . . rolled taiwanese Oolong is fine too . . . but for loose leaf tea, one side is to big and the other one to small to precisely pour into a small to mid size pot. If you use a gaiwan, then its ok. I tend to think that it was originally designed to weigh coffee beans before grinding."
