A pure assamica varietal black tea from Da Si Village in Feng Qing! A first flush of spring bud heavy pluck from wild arbor tea bushes and trees. Expert processing reveals the honey sweetness and malt character in this tea!

This is very much a classic Dian Hong tea but with some added sweetness and body! It should be noted that this tea will hit its prime after about 6 months of aging (up to 3 years).  Feel free to drink it before then, but do keep the bag well sealed if you plan to keep it for longer.

We hope you enjoy this unique and satisfying Feng Qing Dian Hong black tea!

Nice and refreshing

"I would give it 4. 5 as « really good », missing a bit to be « great ». First, I enjoy its scent before brewing, that is nicely floral. Poured into the cap, it offers slightly malty, refreshing scent. The taste is relatively neutral, light and pleasant."

Malty and honey

"A lasting honey note over multiple steeps. I love this tea in porcelain rather than clay so nothing is muted. Good for several steeps."

Spicy Kick

"Great black tea! I love Jin Jun Mei but this tea gives me an awesome alternative. It’s malty and sweet but with a splash of spice/pepper that’s fantastic. This makes it to my top shelf. YS never disappoints. They’re professional, reliable, knowledgeable and trustworthy."
