We are very happy to offer a new Blue Label cake pressed from 2015 and 2017 wet piled ripe pu-erh tea from Yong De county in Lincang. We blended two different Mang Fei mountain wet pile batches that were aged in Yong De town into this lovely tea. Tippy and sweet with no wet pile taste reminds us a bit of the 2012 Blue Label we pressed with the same design back in 2012!

Sweet and fruity with a velvety chocolate mouth-feel. Very smooth, semi-aged ripe!

250 Grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong)
Harvest Area:  Yong De County, Lincang Prefecture (Yunnan)
Total Production amount:  180 kilograms

Sweet hay taste

"Sweet, medicinal, dried hay taste. Has lost the “new pu-erh” funk in late 2025 and is pleasurably aromatic. I am enjoying this as plain, but it also does well as a milk tea, and will knock a sore throat right out of your system. Not spectacular by any means but perfectly comforting."

Daily drinker

"I am a fan of Mang Fei sheng pu erh so I decided to give this one a try. It didn’t disappoint me at all, it has some funkiness left for sure but in later steeps the body transforms into something quite pleasant. Easy drinker for sure and absolutely worth a try. 4 stars because it lacks a bit of strength / complexity imo, and it could use some time to rest and lose some of the wet pile aroma."

Nice

"Nice taste and body for the price, lacks some strength"

Has a unique taste worthy of the blue label

"My initial impression of this tea was surprise as the taste is unique. At first I couldnt tell if it was wet pile, but it clears up to a sweet tippy medicinal taste. A good ripe to mix up the rotation and flavor profile of other more chocolate bitter cocao noted teas."
