Bang Wai Mountain is in the county of Lancang not too far from the Jingmai Mountains. Bang Wai tea, like Jingmai tea, is a naturally occurring mixed (large and small) leaf varietal that displays a floral sweet character juxtaposed against a hoppy bitterness. The aroma is high and bright, whereas the mouth-feel is thick, viscous and crisp, with a long-lasting sweetness.

Wow! This tea said "have a seat!"

"This tea knocked my on my rear end. That's no joke, either, as I have the bruises to prove it. "Photos or it didn't happen." Yeah, yeah, I know, but whilst I do have photos, you can take my word for it because you really don't want to see those photos. If you do, well, I suppose we could work out some sort of deal. You'd be much better off taking me at my word and trying this tea for yourself. Scott has this one pegged perfectly with the hoppy bitterness description. Not that it tastes like beer, but I think this would be a really good tea for people who enjoy beer because it's got such a hops-like finish to it. Be careful, however, as this tea is one strong beast. It had me sweating like a kid bringing home a bad report card from school. You won't find any failing grades for this tea, though. Straight A's, or whatever the equivalent grading system is in your country. Get some!"
